The Chicago Tribune is reporting that after losing out on Torii Hunter, the White Sox might be moving along to “Plan 1B” for CF, which would likely be Aaron Rowand. Rowand made his name in Chicago and was sent to Philly in the Jim Thome deal 2 years ago.

According to the New York Daily News, the Mets are interested in acquiring free agent pitcher Freddy Garcia and have called his agent “several times” this offseason to discuss the right handed pitcher.
